What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that lets a site keep small pieces of information on your device. Both can be used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or, on many sites, to track you. We don’t use them to track you.
What this website stores
| Name | Type | What it’s for | How long |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| remi-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you picked the light or dark theme | Until you clear it |
| remi-sound | Local storage | Remembers whether you turned on sounds in the demos | Until you clear it |
These preferences stay in your browser and are never sent to us. The site works fine without them.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell real visitors from bots and keep the site available during attacks. It doesn’t identify you and isn’t used for advertising. See Cloudflare’s cookie notice.
The site has no ads, no analytics tools, no social media widgets and no embedded videos, so no third parties set cookies through it.
The Remi app
The app doesn’t use browser cookies. It keeps your sign-in and settings securely on your device. On the free plan, Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier, if you allow it, to show and measure ads. How that works, and how to turn it off, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Your choices
You can delete local storage and cookies in your browser’s settings at any time. If we ever add cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
