These Subscription Terms are part of our Terms of Service and apply when you buy Remi Plus or anything else in the Remi app.
What you get with Remi Plus

One spark studies one new part of a note, about a page of text or a minute of audio or video. Your battery refills at midnight in your time zone. Reviewing cards you’ve already learned doesn’t use sparks.
We may improve Remi Plus or change what’s included. If a change takes away something important you paid for, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel.
Prices and payment
Remi Plus is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The current prices are $9.99 per month and $95.88 per year in US dollars. Prices in other countries are set in local currency, may include taxes, and are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends. Your store’s terms also apply to your purchase.
Your subscription is linked to your Remi account, so it works on every device where you’re signed in. If you reinstall Remi or change phones, sign in and tap Restore purchases on the Remi Plus screen.
Free trial
If you haven’t had Remi Plus before, your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Your store decides who is eligible, usually one trial per person. We send you a reminder email before the trial ends. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Your store charges you within the 24 hours before the new period starts.
If we change the price, your store will tell you beforehand and, where required, ask for your consent before charging the new price.
How to cancel
Cancel anytime in your store’s settings. Deleting the app or your Remi account does not cancel your subscription.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Remi → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Remi → Cancel subscription.
After you cancel, you keep Remi Plus until the end of the period you already paid for. Then your account moves to the free plan:
- Your battery goes back to 3 cells a day and ads come back.
- Nothing is deleted. If your library is bigger than the free plan’s 1 GB, all your notes stay and keep working, but you won’t be able to upload new files until you’re under the limit.
Refunds
Because purchases are processed by Apple and Google, refunds are handled by them under their policies:
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund in Google Play (see Google’s refund policy). If it has been more than 48 hours since your purchase, you can also contact us at support@remi-learn.com and we’ll do our best to help.
If you live in a country that gives you a legal right to withdraw from a digital purchase, you still have that right. When you start Remi Plus straight away, you may lose the right to withdraw for the period you’ve already used, as the law allows.
Shop purchases
The Shop in the app sells one-off items that help you keep going. Current US prices:

Shop items are consumable: once bought they are added to your items in Remi, and they are used up when you use them (or, for a battery boost, when its time runs out). They are linked to your Remi account and are not restored if you delete it. They are paid through the App Store or Google Play, and the refund rules above apply. Prices in other countries are shown in the app before you buy.
Rewards and in-app items
Sparks, energy cells, streak freezes, battery boosts, XP, chests, titles and other in-app items, whether earned or bought, have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for money or transferred, as explained in the Terms of Service. On the free plan you can also watch a few rewarded ads each day to refill part of your battery.
